Ronaldo has been annoying the Old Trafford crowd recently. Giving away the ball at crucial times and being slow to get back to the action after getting dispossessed the fans have made their annoyance very audible. Henry Winter wrote that Ronaldo's pass completion rate in the Porto game was just 67%. AF has intervened too warning against giving the ball away cheaply.
Okay, okay Ronaldo needs to address this but a little more gratitude for his enormous contribution to the Club is in order. Although he's not playing as well as he did last season he's still indispensable to the side and we don't want to make a likely move to Real an inevitability. He still scored two goals against Villa and remains capable of turning games on their heads by his brilliance. Old Trafford should give him a break.
