Last week Sir Bobby appeared to call time on the feuding between Sir Alex and Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez:
"It's maybe gone a little bit too far. I'd hate for someone to say something really outrageous. I'm thinking it's gone a little bit too far with managers calling one another and everybody getting on television and trying to keep things newsworthy and on the front pages all the time. It's not fair."
